The weather really set the mood for this wedding. A bright beautiful day without a cloud in the sky, well maybe a few Cumulus clouds, but they just made for some awesome backgrounds. Christine, her bridesmaids and parents made me feel right at home and didn’t mind having me wander around and take pictures of them getting ready. When we arrived at the barn at Balls Falls, Mike was there waiting for his stunning bride to arrive. The barn was beautifully decorated and then Christine made her grand entrance. Thanks again to both families for letting me take part in your special day. Also a big thanks to my second shooter, Milena Trpkovski. Even though she works for Nikon, I won’t hold that against her. Sorry Milena, but Canon rules!
I had the privilege of shooting with one of my favourite photographers at the beginning of October. John Lyons!
Together we captured the wedding of Stephanie and Josh. The weather was looking a little grey the morning of, but the rain held off and the sun came out at the exact moments we needed it. Please visit John’s blog below for the pictures and slide show.

Well, my wife and I just celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversay. We spent the day in Niagara Falls. The first 4 pics are from Susie. She’s learning to shoot now! Stay tuned for more from her in the future.
The next batch are from me:
The next shot is of Tiger Wright(I hope I spelled it right!) of Casa d’Oro. Great guy, stop by have a great meal and get your picture with The Tiger! This next one is from our hotel room. I didn’t have a tripod or a cable release, so don’t mind the flaws!
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure to shoot Carly and Gilles wedding in Windsor with John Lyons of John Lyons Weddings. We truly had a great time shooting one of the best weddings of the year.
Sarah & Kevin got married in Burlington on June 27th, 2009. Garry Blinch from Kettle Creek Weddings officiated the ceremony. Followed by pictures at Village Square in downtown Burlington and finished at Pete’s Pepper Palace!!! Wedding rings were tattooed by Shirley @ Skinners Tattoos in Hamilton
Last but not least, the Butt Rub from Pete’s Pepper Palace!!! We had a good laugh as you can see.
Amanda has now posted her pics from the Chad & Jess wedding. Stop by her blog and check it out. They look awesome. Thanks again Amanda for letting me second shoot for you. Had a great time and you were awesome to work with.
I had the pleasure of second shooting with a good friend of mine, Amanda Stratton from Listowel. We shot a very memorable wedding in Shelburne, Ontario.
I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot the wedding of Natalie Haché & Kevin Clark at the Blau Costa Verde beach resort in Cuba. More pictures to follow, upon the return of the couple from their honeymoon.
The fan on my video card is crapping out, so I have to leave the side of my computer off and "tap" the fan once in a while to keep it quiet. So I thought, let’s take the rings our of the "norm" and put integrate them into some technology.
Got home in time to enjoy some day light. The creek was almost completely frozen over except for a few spots where some fast water was.
Each time I had to move the ring around, I’d move my camera back to the shore, then put it back on the ice and recompose the shot. Got myself a little wet kneeling down on the ice, but didn’t (knock on wood) get anything soaked.
I think I might need to get a neutral density filter. I never thought I’d need one, but I shot at 100 ISO, and had the aperture at f/40.0, just to try and get a slow shutter speed.
