Sarah & Kevin – 6/27/2009

Sarah & Kevin got married in Burlington on June 27th, 2009.  Garry Blinch from Kettle Creek Weddings officiated the ceremony.  Followed by pictures at Village Square in downtown Burlington and finished at Pete’s Pepper Palace!!!  Wedding rings were tattooed by Shirley @ Skinners Tattoos in Hamilton

Last but not least, the Butt Rub from Pete’s Pepper Palace!!!  We had a good laugh as you can see.

Wedding Rings in Cables

Wedding Rings in Cables

The fan on my video card is crapping out, so I have to leave the side of my computer off and "tap" the fan once in a while to keep it quiet. So I thought, let’s take the rings our of the "norm" and put integrate them into some technology.

On the rocks

On the rocks

Got home in time to enjoy some day light. The creek was almost completely frozen over except for a few spots where some fast water was.

Each time I had to move the ring around, I’d move my camera back to the shore, then put it back on the ice and recompose the shot. Got myself a little wet kneeling down on the ice, but didn’t (knock on wood) get anything soaked.

I think I might need to get a neutral density filter. I never thought I’d need one, but I shot at 100 ISO, and had the aperture at f/40.0, just to try and get a slow shutter speed.

Another idea for a ring shot tonight. Bounced my flash off a gold piece of bristle board to enhance the color.

My first Photobook.

My first Photobook.

Just received my first Photobook from Photobook Canada www.photobookcanada.com. I am very impressed so far. The quality is very good and the pictures turned out awesome. Even the ones that I didn’t fix up too much (or at all) in Photoshop.

They have an awesome deal going on right now, where I received a second photobook for free. The printing was done within 7 days and they shipped via Canada Post. The packaging that they arrived in was good as well, the books were not damaged at all. I highly recommend checking them out for your next printing needs. The software is also very easy to use and you can make some pretty amazing designs on your own. I’m not a graphic designer, but the tools they give allow you to really do anything you want!
