Together Laurie, Tim, friends and family celebrated a beautiful wedding on an incredible August day at the Edgewater Manor in Grimsby Ontario. I also had the pleasure to work with Brent Pilgrim. He’s an awesome budding wedding photographer from Milton and my new friend in the business. The guys had just returned from getting an Italian shave just in time to get dressed and get to the Edgewater. The ladies, all 10 in the wedding party plus MUA and family, were all in great spirits and kept the house very busy. Lots of hustle and bustle but in the end a beautiful bridal party and a stunning bride. Here are a few of my favourite moments from our day together.
St. Joseph’s International Outreach
For over 10 years, my mom has been working with the sisters of St-Joseph’s International Outreach Program. She’s been donation her time to re-building the hospital in Port-o-Prince, Haiti. When the earthquakes struck this January, the hospital and all their hard work crumbled along with the rest of the city. Fortunately for the Haitian people another hospital had been built to withstand this type of damage and is still operational. Her efforts have now gone toward setting up this new facility. Tomorrow May 18th she’ll travel back to Port-o-Prince with the team for 10 days to do what they can. One day, I hope to go to Haiti myself not only to document their efforts, but to do my part in setting up their healthcare system
Here’s 2 of her suitcases:
I had the privilege of shooting with one of my favourite photographers at the beginning of October. John Lyons!
Together we captured the wedding of Stephanie and Josh. The weather was looking a little grey the morning of, but the rain held off and the sun came out at the exact moments we needed it. Please visit John’s blog below for the pictures and slide show.

A few pics of my big brother Dan from a Thanksgiving. We were outside setting up our group shot, so I snapped a few of him! I had to use my old Rebel XT for the shots as my 5D doesn’t have the IR capabilities and the only trigger I have didn’t work. So I went old school for these ones!
A few weeks ago I had the chance to do photos for the Froud family down by the lake in Oakville with all the falling leaves. We had a beautiful morning, the weather was perfect…even though it was only about 5 degrees. Here’s a little peak into their session
Halloween time again. This year I decided to pay homage to one of my favourite photographers, [b]ecker. I decided to carve his logo into one of my pumpkins. The weather was cold and the wind was blowing! This didn’t stop the kids though. We hit all the houses in our complex this year. Now while they sleep us loving parents will “go through” all of their candy to make sure it’s all safe! Bless their innocent souls. Now I know what my parents did to me and my brother as kids.
This is a shot from my photoshoot with the Froud Family. Lots of fishermen out this morning.
A sneak peek at my recent family shoot with the Froud Family.
Andrea Wilson & Sean Baker made the drive from Akron Ohio up to Niagara Falls Ontario for an awesome afternoon engagement shoot. Here are just some of my favourites.
Some behind the scenes shots of the Andrea & Sean engagement shoot in Niagara Falls.
I didn’t want to go the whole weekend and not give you something. Here’s a shot of the kids from the summer.
Hayden & Desiree at kidsfest in Burlington!
The last set was just Kacee, here are some with Mom & Dad now.
No shoot is complete without some shots of just Mom & Dad. Here’s Colleen & Paul:
I received an email from Stephanie Whitson saying she wanted to get her dad a present. Her parents have their family dog, Kacee, a beautiful Britney Spaniel. So we decided to take mom, dad & Kacee to the park and see what happens. Well folks, here’s what we ended up with. An awesome family with a super dog.
I have the best clients in the world. This was in a gift basket from Colleen & Paul Whitson, after our shoot with Kacee. Thanks again guys!

I had a great time shooting the Kings playing at the Burlington Rotary Ribfest this year.
