Today we spent the day at Bronte Creek. I didn’t bring any of my cameras as we were suppose to go swimming, but Mr. Thunderstorm put an end to that fun. So we spent a lot of time inside the play barn and looking at the animals.
We were ready to head out for our last day together this week! It was a great week with just me and the little ones. While we didn’t get to go to Bronte Creek as planned, we did lots of playing around the new house and little trips around Burlington.
We had to cut his hair again. It was just too long. He loves to twirl it in his fingers and kept getting knots. They’d be so bad we had to cut them out anyways. So here’s the new do:
Another walkabout with the kids today. We went to find some more chipmunks to feed. This time we brought some soy nuts with us. Guess what, they animals don’t like them either! lol. We couldn’t get a single chipmunk to eat them out of our hands. They’d come up, sniff them, then run away. The kids had fun anyways.
Tonight after our pizza dinner we decided to run the kids out. We took them on a huge walk. From what I can calculate on Google Maps, they walked about 1.5km. That’s a lot for a 2 & 4 year old. But sure enough, once they see the park, they have energy again.
I love getting to spend one on one time with just one of my kids. In the past, I’ve created other sets of Desiree – Cleaning, crawling, putting stickers all over herself. I haven’t had the chance to create some Hayden sets. So here is the first of many more to come. Enjoy!
So my main computer is in the shop, so I’m only left with my laptop. I’ve had such photoshop withdrawl that I’ve had to download some pictures from my camera phone and edit them. Here’s the only ones that I could recover…
Hayden got to go with daddy to BBQ’s Galore in Burlington to pick up our new smoker. If you’re looking for a great BBQ or smoker, I recommend checking these guys out. Great service and the sales reps know what they’re talking about.
He loves his little fireman’s hat. Every night he plays with it for hours. There are all kinds of holes in it now from where he chews through it. We bought him this new sleeper as well, so I had to grab a few shots with him in it and with his favourite hat.
