The saddest picture

I know everyone wants happy cheerful life is beautiful type pictures all the time, but sometimes our kids cry….and sometimes you get to capture their sadness. Desiree just wasn’t happy this day. We went to visit her Great Grandma, but at the end of the visit when we were trying to get a beautiful family shot of all of her 6 great grandchildren, Desiree didn’t want to take part and started to cry. Here’s how it looks when doves cry
Desiree and Hayden at Bronte Creek

Today we spent the day at Bronte Creek. I didn’t bring any of my cameras as we were suppose to go swimming, but Mr. Thunderstorm put an end to that fun. So we spent a lot of time inside the play barn and looking at the animals.
July 9th 2010 – my 365 – The kids head out

We were ready to head out for our last day together this week! It was a great week with just me and the little ones. While we didn’t get to go to Bronte Creek as planned, we did lots of playing around the new house and little trips around Burlington.
June 27th 2010 – my 365 – Desiree, Hayden and the chipmunks

Another walkabout with the kids today. We went to find some more chipmunks to feed. This time we brought some soy nuts with us. Guess what, they animals don’t like them either! lol. We couldn’t get a single chipmunk to eat them out of our hands. They’d come up, sniff them, then run away. The kids had fun anyways.

A father only gets to say this a few times in his life: My Daughter Graduated today. Today was from J/K. She is so awesome. She was only 3 when she got into school and has progressed amazingly.
June 21st 2010 – my 365 – Desiree’s Burger dilemma

She had 2 smiley face fries on one half and a burger and one smiley face fry on the other. Her plight was trying to get the two halves together to make one giant burger. She just couldn’t get it to work even though she tried for about 5 minutes.

Took the kids to the park to run them out for a bit. Always a good time. Desiree decided to show off her awesome climbing skills! Not bad for a 4 year old.

May 5th 2010 – my 365 – Desiree at School
I went to school today! What a blast from the past. Desiree is going to the same grade school that I went to. Today was their open house for their public speaking. For the j/k class they did 2 songs and a poem. The whole class did it together and it was great. Congrats to Mme Lina for doing a great job with our kids.
April 30th 2010 – my 365 – Breaking the law
Desiree loves the Judas Priest song “breaking the law”, actually Hayden loves it too. I want to try to make a video of them when they listen to the song. They go crazy. Here is a shot of Desiree making her “Breaking the Law Face”. I think she looks like a trucker.

Desiree’s First day of School – sneak peak
My second little girl’s first day of school. She got on the bus for the first time like a champ!

camera phone
So my main computer is in the shop, so I’m only left with my laptop. I’ve had such photoshop withdrawl that I’ve had to download some pictures from my camera phone and edit them. Here’s the only ones that I could recover…

Hopscotch
Another family fun night our front of out house. Everyone got into the game..except the photographer of course!

Desiree in the clouds
Took this shot indoors, but the background was not flattering, so I thought I’d play with the "render clouds" in Photoshop.

Purchased a new cabinet for the hallway. I’m not a fan of Rubbermaid…I’d rather have purchased a Sauder.
