A few pics of my big brother Dan from a Thanksgiving. We were outside setting up our group shot, so I snapped a few of him! I had to use my old Rebel XT for the shots as my 5D doesn’t have the IR capabilities and the only trigger I have didn’t work. So I went old school for these ones!
Halloween time again. This year I decided to pay homage to one of my favourite photographers, [b]ecker. I decided to carve his logo into one of my pumpkins. The weather was cold and the wind was blowing! This didn’t stop the kids though. We hit all the houses in our complex this year. Now while they sleep us loving parents will “go through” all of their candy to make sure it’s all safe! Bless their innocent souls. Now I know what my parents did to me and my brother as kids.
So my main computer is in the shop, so I’m only left with my laptop. I’ve had such photoshop withdrawl that I’ve had to download some pictures from my camera phone and edit them. Here’s the only ones that I could recover…
So my old car died on the side of the 407 a few weeks ago. We went out and purchased our new Kia Rio5. Here’s a shot of the odometer. I couldn’t get it right at the lot as I didn’t have the camera with me and I have to pick up the kids from daycare, so Susie got to drive it home.
Went to Home Depot the other night and found “the Woz” on a license plate. Is it really him? Nope…not sure who it is but my Apple nerd hat came out and I had to capture this.
Sometimes you just have your camera in the right place at the right time. This time happened to be when I went to park my car on the street the parking meter read this:
Sarah & Kevin got married in Burlington on June 27th, 2009. Garry Blinch from Kettle Creek Weddings officiated the ceremony. Followed by pictures at Village Square in downtown Burlington and finished at Pete’s Pepper Palace!!! Wedding rings were tattooed by Shirley @ Skinners Tattoos in Hamilton
Last but not least, the Butt Rub from Pete’s Pepper Palace!!! We had a good laugh as you can see.
Had a great seminar with Becker today. Got to hang out with lots of great photographers. I can’t name everyone as there was about 25 of us. Great time, lots of great info. Time to put it all to work.
Hey fanclub! Sorry for no picture today. I’m prepping for Cuba and my brand new HP Laptop died that I got at Future Shop. So I had to exchange it tonight. They didn’t have any, so I “upgraded” to a Toshiba. Hopefully get a better experience out of this one! I’ll be back soon.
