Desiree loves the Judas Priest song “breaking the law”, actually Hayden loves it too. I want to try to make a video of them when they listen to the song. They go crazy. Here is a shot of Desiree making her “Breaking the Law Face”. I think she looks like a trucker.
April 29th 2010 – my 365 – Night out with Maloreigh
Tonight I got to go out to a high school play with my oldest daughter Maloreigh. We went to go see Little Shop of Horrors. It was quite well done for the school.
April 28th 2010 – my 365 – New Grass
So we had some grass die over the winter in a few patches, about a week ago I put out fresh seed and dirt. Some little guys are starting to poke their heads through.

My little guy was starting to look like a hippie (says his dad who used to have hair down to his butt!). So we took him for his first haircut.

I’m in a panorama mood these days. I wanted to try a vertical panorama this time, but it was too late to get outside. Maybe this weekend we’ll try something funky with a vertical.

Went to hang out with my friends over at Groove Monkey Productions today. They were working the Dancefest 2010 competition at Mohawk College. They were offering their full package called the “The Adjudicator” Offering: Competition Video Recording, Recital Video Recording, Competitive Showcase Recording, Live Audio Mixing for Recitals and Showcases, and Photo Sales. They have a great setup and on the spot photos and dvds available.
April 10th 2010 – my 365 – Day 100
Well well. I’ve made it to day 100 on my 365. I had a few misses in there, sickness, home improvements, trying to sell my house….but I’m here now and not stopping.

The stay away from batteries!
Ok. Every Photographer gets into a pinch and needs to buy some AA batteries. Well, you’re in the middle of a small town in Quebec and the only store that is open has this brand. A pack of 24 batteries for 3.00. You can’t go wrong, right? Well, 4 new batteries in my flash and GO. second shot, nothing. I had to wait about 30 seconds for them to recycle. I wasn’t even on full power. Luckily I wasn’t shooting a wedding or special event. Although for those I always have extra good ones.
I like Energizer. I think they would make a great sponsor! So Energizer, if you’re out there. Let’s chat.

Hey world. I’m back! While I have yet to sell my house, all of my renovations are complete and the place looks like a million bucks! If you don’t believe me, check out this video:
Tomorrow is a fresh start again for Nine Live Photography. While we’re not launching a new website or changing directions, we’re just getting the ball rolling again. It’s time to start connecting with new clients. It can be brides, mom’s, dad’s, or anyone. Anyone looking to capture a moment. I met with one of my August brides this weekend and it’s great to touch base. She is so great and I can’t wait to shoot her outdoor wedding. Also, I’m finishing up some pictures for an album, which I can’t wait to deliver to Krista & Mark, my bride and groom from March. I also can’t wait to see how their son Maverick is doing!
